I.  Performance of Internationalization in Year 2017

(I). May: Professors participated “Taiwan Further Education Fair” in Malaysia.

(II). June: Department Chairperson Liu and 10 faculty members visited Beijing Union University and Jilin University (Mainland China) to discuss the issues of research collaboration and the program of exchanging students.

(III). June: Vice president Su attended the Cross-strait Talent Exchange Symposium held in Fu-Zhou, Mainland China.

(IV). Summer Internship for Graduate Students: Four graduate students attended the internship program at Master Hill Electric Wire and Cable Company in Shen-Zhen, Mainland China.

(V). Spring-Semester abroad Internship for Undergraduate Students:

1. Seven students attended the internship program at Shoetown Group Company in Guang-Zhou, Mainland China.

2. Five students attended the internship program at Primax Electronics Ltd.  in Dongguan , Mainland China.

3. Two students attended the internship program at Master Hill Electric Wire and Cable Company in Shen-Zhen , Mainland China.

 (VI). November: Department Chairperson Liu and faculty members visited Vietnam’s Nha Trang University discuss the issues of research collaboration. In addition, the professors visited Shyangshinbao Industrial Company and CO-WIN Fasteners Industrial Company to discuss the issues of the program of internship and joint research projects.

II. Planning Activities of Internationalization in Year 2018

(I). April: Visiting Shyangshinbao Industrial Company in Vietnam to discuss the details of joint research projects.

(II). May: Attending the first Taiwan-Vietnam exchange workshop held in Vietnam’s Nha Trang University.

(III).May: Attending AACSB certification workshop held in Hong-Kong。

(IV). August: Visiting Malaysia to discuss the details of student recruitment and joint research projects.

(V). September: Visiting Vietnam’s University of Agriculture and Forestry to discuss the issue of academic collaboration.。

(VI).October: Visiting Indonesia to discuss the issues o student recruitment and internship.

(VII).November: Inviting overseas scholars to department to attend cross-strait exchange workshop.
